Tennis is a sport of numbers. From its complicated scoring system to its plethora of statistics, there are a lot of numbers involved in the sport.

So when a player starts making a point about a number without context, it could mean a lot of different things. And after one particular moment this week at the Madrid Open, the people of Twitter tried to help clear up some of the confusion.

After Jessica Pegula was caught on camera aggressively counting something during her round three clash with Bianca Andreescu in Madrid, the WTA, as they have become prone to do, decided to have a little fun.

Pegula herself even encouraged it.
