Tennis NWT received Get Active grants as part of Recreation and Parks Month in June. This is a time to celebrate and promote the many benefits of physical recreation and parks for NWT residents!

Summer Solstice Tennis Event June 21, 2022
Come celebrate Summer Solstice and National Indigenous Peoples Day with Tennis NWT on June 21, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at McNiven Tennis Courts.

Our community-oriented event will give everyone a chance to get out and learn to play tennis, be more physically active and participate in a sport that can be played for a lifetime. Our event will include tennis drills and match play. Tennis is a great way to stay fit, forge friendships and have fun. Our coaches will be there and we’re going to serve you some snacks in celebration of the longest day of the year.

Seniors Tennis June 28, 2022
Tennis NWT community-oriented event will give seniors a chance to get out and learn to play tennis, be more physically active and participate in a sport that can be played for a lifetime. Our event will include tennis drills and match play. Playing tennis is a great social workout and is enjoyed by players of all ages and abilities. Join Tennis NWT on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at McNiven Tennis Courts and learn to play this timeless sport. Snacks will be provided.
